Corporate Documentation Center has over one million engineering drawings on aperture cards. In-house conversion project is cost prohibitive due to speciality equipment required, estimated in-house labor and programming costs.

The Solution:

Outsourcing the project to Data2CD allowed the customer to stay within thier financial budget and meet the completion due date required for the project. Over one million engineering drawings scanned with Oce aperture scanners. Data2CD professional services staff provided: advanced quality control measures, programming check digit MF codes, proofing, and manual image cropping when required. Our custom programming modifications during the assembly process allowed all completed images and Hollerith code generated to interface directly with the Documentation Center's eMatrix software system.
